COVID Virtual Workshops

To help support our community during the COVID-19 crisis, we are offering various group workshops.  Group workshops are free. If you would like to contribute to our ongoing work, donations will be accepted.

You may sign up for just one group workshop or the whole series. If you miss the first week of a series, you are still welcome to attend the following weeks.

Support Groups for the Black Community

These last 6 months have taken the black community for a world win. Many of us have experienced everything from personal loss to losses of prominent figures such as John Lewis and Chadwick Boseman. Not only have there been physical losses due to health conditions and the pandemic, but there has also been tremendous pain and suffering felt due to police brutality and injustice. Whether you are currently grieving the loss of a friend, family member, or had a huge major life change and grieving routine, there is no right way to grieve. How you grieve depends on many factors such as your personality, life experiences, and how significant the loss was to you. Grief often feels like a roller coaster and can take a toll on you. The good news is you don't have to do it alone. Join us for the next 4 weeks as we speak and connect on what grief and loss look like in the Black Community.

If you would like to contribute to our ongoing work, donations will be accepted.

If you RSVP to attend a workshop, the event facilitator will be in contact a few days prior with important information and access details. If you have any questions, please email us at p.monborne@douglasgrppractice.com.
